Image Specification Guidelines
For the initial submission we don’t need any high resolution imagery, but we do need each photo to meet a certain specification. Please ensure the following:

It is important that you take note of our ethics and eligibility before entering your images into the competition. If you are found to be in breach of any of these conditions your will be disqualified from the competition.

Publicity
By entering this competition you agree that, if your image(s) is/are shortlisted or selected as a winner, they will be used in any publicity material relating to Wildlife Worldwide, The Natural Travel Collection and the Wildlife Worldwide Photography Competition. The photographer also agrees to the use of their name for further publicity purpose in regards to the competition.

Decide which category your photo suits best and fill in the online entry form:
- Make sure the image file name matches the following format: PhotoTitle_Photographer’sName_Category
- You must supply your full name, email address, county of residence and a description of up to 70 words to accompany your image (to include where and when it was taken).
- Please use the appropriate upload boxes to enter your images in to the correct categories.
- Make sure your images meet the image specifications and are eligible as per our terms and conditions, which you can find below.
- Entries must be received by 23:59 on 19 November 2021 and the winners will be announced in our e-news and through our social media channels.
- Upon entry you will receive a confirmation of receipt.
- You can only enter each category once (unless you have travelled with Wildlife Worldwide previously, then you will get three entries in each category - including the portfolio category).
- Each image must have been taken in one of the destinations we feature on our website, you can find the full list here.
Terms & Conditions
- The competition is open to anyone over 18 years of age.
- You can only enter one image in each category, unless you are entering the portfolio category in which case you can enter up to 12 images from a single destination, any further entries will not be considered for judging.
- Any photo submitted must have been taken by the entrant; in one of the destinations we run trips to, and captured after 1 January 2015.
- By entering the competition, entrants are agreeing to grant The Natural Travel Collection a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license without charge to use, reproduce, publish and display any or all of their entries for use in marketing materials, including but not limited to brochures, company websites and social media.
- By entering the competition the entrant agrees that their name and country of residence will be published if their photo wins. All winners will be notified by phone or email. A list of the winners will be published on the Wildlife Worldwide website, brochure and social media pages.
- You can additionally opt for us to send to you our e-newsletter and other communications relating to our business which we think may be of interest to you (you can inform us at any time if you no longer require marketing communications). It is not necessary to subscribe to our e-newsletter to enter the competition.
- The photos will be judged anonymously by our judging panel. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- There is no cash alternative and prizes will not be transferable. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with one of the same or greater value.
Image Specification Guidelines
For the initial submission we don’t need any high resolution imagery, but we do need each photo to meet a certain specification. Please ensure the following:
- Any image entered needs to be in a JPEG format.
- Images should be saved at a minimum of 3000 pixels on the longest edge at 300 dpi.
- Please do not include any watermarks, borders or signature as the judging will be done anonymously.
- Images should be no larger than 10 Mb in size.
- Please make sure the file name of the image as follows: PhotoTitle_Photographer’sName_Category e.g. Bear_JohnSmith_WildlifePortrait
- Entrants whose work has been shortlisted will need to provide us with a RAW file or an unedited JPEG to prove it meets our terms and conditions.
- If you are unable to provide either a RAW or unedited JPEG your image will be disqualified from the competition.
- A high resolution JPEG will be requested from the winning photographers.
- Digital processing is allowed within reason, but this will be at the judges’ discretion.
- Please note that the addition or removal of elements within an image will lead to disqualification, with the exception of sensor dust spots.
Ethics & Eligibility
It is important that you take note of our ethics and eligibility before entering your images into the competition. If you are found to be in breach of any of these conditions your will be disqualified from the competition.
- A picture that has already won a prize in another competition cannot be entered.
- Any photo submitted must have been taken by you; in one of the destinations we run trips to, within the last 5 years. To check which countries we run trips to click here: http://www.wildlifeworldwide.com/discover
- Those that have not previously travelled with Wildlife Worldwide, can only enter each category once.
- Those that have travelled with Wildlife Worldwide, can enter each category three times.
- Any image received over your specific allocation will be rejected, the images will be accepted in the order in which they are received.
- An image will be rejected if, in the opinion of the judges, it appears that the image has been taken in such a way that wildlife law or animal welfare requirements may have been breached; protected species or habitats have been compromised; or the image has been otherwise taken in an irresponsible way.
- Domestic pets and farm animals are not eligible, nor is wildlife photographed in zoos, safari parks or similar locations
- Photographs using model animals or live bait are not permitted
Intellectual Property Rights and Copyright
- Any image submitted to the competition will remain under the copyright of the owner(s) and the photographer will be credited accordingly. The Natural Travel Collection and sponsors will not be held accountable for any omission of credit.
- By entering the competition the photographer allows The Natural Travel Collection, a non-exclusive and royalty free license to reproduce and publish the image as see they see fit for marketing purposes (with the right to sub-license as necessary).
- Commercial benefit may be a further possibility for the owners of any photographs submitted which are picked up by external parties. Permission will always be sought from the copyright holder before used in such situations.
Publicity
By entering this competition you agree that, if your image(s) is/are shortlisted or selected as a winner, they will be used in any publicity material relating to Wildlife Worldwide, The Natural Travel Collection and the Wildlife Worldwide Photography Competition. The photographer also agrees to the use of their name for further publicity purpose in regards to the competition.
Liability
- If you do not receive a confirmation of receipt for your entry, we cannot guarantee your image will be considered for judging.
- Any image submitted will be accepted in to the competition in the order to which they were received and the competition owner cannot be held responsible for the order in which they appear.
- Wildlife Worldwide and The Natural Travel Collection will not be held responsible for any emails that are not received due to user error, restrictions by their internet service provider or email exchange.
- The owners of the competition will not accept any responsibility for submitted files which are lost or damaged
- The Natural Travel Collection cannot be held liable for any misuse of imagery by a third party.
Data Protection
- All personal data will be handled in accordance to law as regulated by the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Personal data will only be collected in relation to the competition for communication and administration purposes.
- Entrants will be asked upon entering the competition whether they wish to have their details added to the postal or email mailing lists.
- All entrants may contact Wildlife Worldwide, or other brands within The Natural Travel Collection, at any time to update their personal details or be removed from the mailing list.
